Dr. Rich is the lead organizer of the Canadian Computational Neuroscience Spotlight. This virtual meeting was initially created to fill the void of conferences in the wake of the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, it serves as a unique, trainee-focused academic meeting that leverages the unique benefits and reduced costs of the online setting to remain accessible and free-to-attend for trainees across the globe.

The fourth edition of CCNS took place in October 2023, and the meeting is expected to continue on a yearly basis moving forward.
